Forgiveness, this is what Liza gave to her father. Everyone commits mistakes, everyone does lie and cheat. In Liza’s case, I think, she felt betrayed. She got mad at her father for having an extramarital affair, for finding another woman, for cheating at her and her mother and for not being contented enough. Each one of us makes mistakes but forgiveness isn’t for everyone, especially if a person thinks that you don’t deserve the forgiveness that you wanted. Liza has a warming heart, she chose to forgive, accept and start. Her relationship with her father still won. She chose to be happy, to not being cold hearted and to do what she thinks is right. The lesson of the story is that even someone made a mistake unto you, at the end, you will still choose to forgive and forget every mistakes they have done.
